Google Latitude Web App for iPhone 3G/3GS and iPod Touch 3.0
Do you remember the Google Latitude launched by the Big G a few months ago? Update: Google Latitude can now be run in your iPhone 3G/3GS powered by OS 3.0 and iPod Touch 3.0! That’s right, peeps. Using your iPhone, you can locate your friends’ location and what they are doing and vice versa. This new feature again makes millions wanna crave for the iPhone OS 3.0-powered mobile phones.
To enable Google Latitude (note: release date is today) in your iPhone handsets, type in google.com/latitude (with or without www.) and you’re good to go. Google Latitude for iPhone is initially available to iPhone 3G and 3G S users in 5 countries – US, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Google officially stated that they will try to bring Latitude to all iPhone/iPod Touch 3.0 users in more countries (we presume countries in Europe will be given priority over countries in Asia basing on the sales of iPhone in these areas).
