Xbox Live News: Xbox Live Down Again and Angers Users
Microsoft’s Xbox Live is down again so don’t get upset if you can’t connect to the Xbox Live server (although many people are mad already). The outage was scheduled by Microsoft for 24 hours. That means a full day without Xbox Live.
Reports have it that in addition to Xbox Live being down, you won’t be able to access the “My Xbox” section of Xbox.com, and the Xbox forums will be in read-only mode. Do note that this downtime will not result in any new features once Live goes back up — it’s only intended to prepare the service for the big Xbox Dashboard re-launch set to happen later this year, that will add new navigation features and as well the Microsoft Avatars.
Well, for those Xbox users who are eager to play Xbox Live, do something else while the system maintenance is being undertaken. Get some fresh air and clear your head then hope that after 24 hours, Xbox Live will not be down anymore so you can play your favorite Xbox Live games without a hitch. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that these down times with the XBox Live will not be frequent in the near future.
