Xbox Live Down Today August 6-7 2009 Frustrates Users
Xbox Live has gone down a few times in the past and we’ve documented Xbox Live Down events since 2008. For 2009, it’s only the 2nd time this month of August Xbox Live went down for reasons unclear to many users. The first schedule was in June. Well, this is most likely due to system maintenance like Xbox Live always does on a regular basis. This means that Xbox Live could only be down today (August 6 or 7, 2009 depends on your location) only.
Xbox Live Down Time
For Xbox 360 players who use Xbox Live actively, don’t get frustrated. So far there are no reports of Xbox Live being hacked as opposed to Twitter Being Down which was allegedly due to a hacker who breached the security settings of Twitter. Facebook went down as well. Some online news claim the network will be down for 7 freaking days? What? If this down time for Xbox Live happens, I’m sure millions of users who paid for subscriptions and game downloads will be furious and might as well throw some oh-not-so-kind words to Mircrosoft.

I live in Ontario and haven’t been able to access Gmail’s website today or yesterday (it’s August 7 2009 right now). I also can’t sign into my youtube account and sometimes I can’t do searches on google. Is google down? I’m going insane here! Or is something wrong with my computer! Please help!
