Panasonic TC-PGT50 Plasma HDTV Series with Progressive 3D Full HD Display
The Panasonic GT50 Plasma TV is a series of 3D-capable HDTV showcased at the CES 2012 event in Las Vegas. It was the second best HDTV line-up by Panasonic which boasted its elegant design. It’s a huge improvement from the Panasonic Viera Z1 Series Plasma TV.
Like the Samsung UNES7500 3D Smart LED TV Series, the Panasonic TC-PGT50 Plasma HDTV Series is THX-certified. It is 3D compatible but also got 2D-to-3D conversion capability. It has a progressive 3D Full HD display.

Plasma HDTV models were showcased at CES 2012 like the GT50 series by Panasonic.
Panasonic’s GT50 series of Plasma TV features Infinite Black Pro Panel with 1080p resolution. It is capable of multitasking, has built-in Wi-Fi and four HDMI ports. It also features a cloud-based Viera Connect Internet suite with web browser.
The biggest boasting factor in the GT50 is its one-sheet design. It also has a touchpad remote. With regards to looks, it’s very far from the LG 55EM9600 55″ Cinema 3D OLED Smart HDTV.
The Panasonic TC-PGT50 Plasma TV will be available in four models: TC-P50GT50 (50-inch), TC-P55GT50 (55-inch), TC-P60GT30 (60-inch), and TC-P65GT50 (65-inch).
Panasonic GT50 Plasma HDTV exact release date and prices are yet to be announced. According to the manufacturer, the 50-inch and 55-inch models will come earlier in March while the 60-inch and 65-inch models will follow in April 2012.
