Seriously? $200-$500…could you have picked a wider range? That’s like saying a dollar is worth 90-110 cents. You could have at least based it on the price of the Korean one.

Yes, seriously. In fact the price range could be wider. Why? Because there are FOUR versions of the Samsung YP-P3 PMP. Obviously you were only referring to a single unit. Kindly read the article again. Your analogy that one dollar is worth 90-110 cents is not correct. If we were referring to a single entity, that would be fine but we are talking about 4 entities here: the 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB YP-P3 PMP. Did you really expect all the four products to be priced the same? :-)

Until Samsung releases an official announcement about the price, don’t complain about what you read online. These are mere speculations based on old pricing (P2 PMP). There are no suggested retail prices for the YP-P3 PMP (4Gb-32GB) yet as of this writing. Come back here when the official prices are released and if the price range I have indicated here does not cover the official suggested retail price, I will send you a YP-P3 PMP for free.

    Camper,

Me too. I prefer the iPod Touch more than the new Samsung YP-P3 PMP. established na product na kasi ang iPod. iTunes is even integrated in the new iPod Touch sold in the market these days.

    Joy,

Your server could be down kaya di mo mai-save yung XML file mo. Also, that could be a sign of a MySQL database error.

Salamat Fren. Di rin pala maimport kung malaki ang file compare sa limit.

    Joy,

Yeah, there is a limit when you export your XML file. I think it’s 5MB. Kaya nga pag malaki na yung site fren hindi na advisable na maglipat ng host.

Lol while I agree with you on the most part, I think you may end up sending him a P3 just because I find it very, VERY hard to imagine a 4GB P3 being $200 or more. You said,
“Come back here when the official prices are released and if the price range I have indicated here does not cover the official suggested retail price, I will send you a YP-P3 PMP for free,”
    so a 4GB P3 having a suggested retail price below $200 would qualify for a free P3.

You can send it to me since I’m nitpicking rather than being a retard like Thach. And yes, I read your article :-)

Can I get in one that too? The suggested retail price for the 16gb is 199.99 so I’ll take one of those, please. Dell.com has it for 139.00 but its sold out :-(

I bought a Samsung YP-P3 2 days ago. I’m not impressed. don’t get me wrong, it sounds fine. However, the Emodio software is worse than useless. I transferred all of my music to the device by using it as a usb drive, but it seems to be impossible to populate playlists. I’ve tried to raise the issue on the Sumsung website but this too is usless, requiring you to select mandatery options from empty drop down fields in order to raise issues. So basically you can’t raise issues. Good for stats, pants for customer satisfaction.
There are quirks with the device itself too. If you set the finger slide action to move music by 10 seconds, a left to right slide (forwards to you and me from the west) moves the music back. A right to left slide moves the music forwards! I guess this is a Korean quirk. All in all, if I could get somebody to take the device off my hands tomorrow I would gladly get rid of it tomorrow as it would help my blood pressure..
