Don’t you just find it a hassle that you can’t bring your iPod while swimming? MP3 players are now a dime a dozen but companies have so far failed to realize that there are people like who wants a music player that I can use while underwater. I am delighted to learn about this upcoming product called the Mi-SPORT VBT Bluetooth Headset that also features a built-in MP3 player. This is just an amazing concept especially considering that summer is about to kick in and people will be swarming over the beach. I don’t know about you but I think I could impress those ladies-in-the-bikinis with me wearing this headset while swimming. I will surely elicit some serious queries from people and I can possibly hook up with a chick if I let her use this wonderful waterproof music player.

Mi-SPORT VBT Waterproof Headphone with MP3 Player Review: Essentially, Mi-SPORT VBT is a fully-waterproof Bluetooth stereo headphone that has a nifty integrated 4GB MP3 device that can also play WMA and AAC (iTunes file format) audio files. I repeat it’s not just a water-resistant player that can survive water splashes or slight rain drizzle; it is truly waterproof that makes it useable while swimming. The manufacturer has not only managed to encase this headphone/MP3 player in water-tight construction but also made a waterproof soft sponge that repels water but allows sound! They are effective earplugs underneath the head phonethat deliver crystal-clear stereo music while you are completely submerged underwater. They designed it particularly to be comfortable and safe to wear. They said it will not cause any pressure accumulation on the side of the head.
Aside from being playable while being wet, The Mi-SPORT VBT features voice-navigation which means easier and faster search of songs in a huge music library. Remember that this headphone will ship with 4GB internal capacity which is almost equivalent to 1,000 MP3 songs. The voice-navigation software will support English and all major European languages including Russian and Arabic. A user may also use the 2 lower buttons to rewind or fast-forward a song currently playing. The Mi-SPORT VBT’s battery will last up to 9 hours. Synching files is done through Bluetooth and this device is compatible with Mac or Windows.
No price or availability has been announced but the company said they will definitely launch the Mi-SPORT VBT this 2010. Mi-SPORT VBT Waterproof Headset with Built-in Music Player release date not yet confirmed but we’ll update you when it’s already out in the market. It primarily targets buyers from the US, UK and Canada but expect the manufacturers to ship the product worldwide via Amazon, Ebay and other online stores.

Already many swimming MP3 on the market from people like Speedo. And they use in ear units so they wont slide off when swimming. I really can’t see the point of this one.
@Mike, I used a previous product of theirs and there are lots of advantages. They actually dont slip off at all because they hook over the ears. The one I had came with a small accessory to tighten the fit if I needed. In ear doesn’t always work that well. As soon as water gets in you are messing around with the fit. If the mi-sport has all this extra stuff I would use them for more than just swimming. The Speedo is with wires as well which is always a pain.
Where can I buy the mi-sport VBT, I cannot find anywhere to buy, even on ebay and amazon.
I want to get it ASAP,
