Memorex MMP8585C 4GB Media Player Review: Memorex media players are cheaper by far among media players with 4GB capacity like Sandisk Sansa E260. However, this media player has limited features. Technically, the MMP8585C Memorex 4GB media player is not compatible with iTunes. However, you can play iTunes downloaded songs if you are patient enough to transfer files first to Windows Media Player. Another disadvantage is that the Memorex MMP8585C media player cannot play while it is charging because it sits in sync mode.

Another problem with the Memorex 4GB Media Player (Memorex MMP8585C) is that buttons are at times unresponsive. According to one customer, the buttons click when you push them but will only function after 3 repeated clicks. This maybe an isolated case but still inexcusable.

Here are the advantages of this media player by Memorex. The Memorex MMP8585C has a nice screen resolution for its size. It has a 4GB storage capacity for a cheaper price.     i have this memorex 4gb media player. One big disadvantage is scrolling thru titles that are in the middle of the alphabet. When you scroll thoough, the list starts at A or you can move backwards to Z. However if you have 1000 songs going to a title starting with “m” lets say takes FOREVER. Very annoying! Theres no volume leveling so your mp3′s better all be the same volume. And yeah you cant charge and listen at the same time. Its good only to listen in random mode for several hours. Say, using it for background music in a business. But thats it! Id give it a C- but its cheap
