Here is another great invention from Chinavasion.com, the iMo Resonance Speaker/MP3 Player. Our review of iMo Resonance Speaker: First, the low cost. Yes, it’s cheap. And what’s impressive about this MP3 player is that it can transmit sounds through hard surfaces like wood, glass or metal. Unlike the Kube MP3 Player, which is very very small, this model has a larger body frame. By itself, the iMo can only produce a weak sound but if you place on top of your office table or on the floor, it will generate a rich sound complete with full bass and treble clarity. It does this by sending sonic vibrations through its base which turns any solid surface into a loudspeaker system! Impress your friends or co-workers, bring it to work and show-off this unique and high tech device. If you are the naughty kind, why not bring this your workplace’s rest room and put in on the tile floor. Let it rip some Lady Gaga tunes while you answer the call of nature.

It cannot generate a Dolby Surround listening experience but it does decent stereo playback from my mahogany cabinet. This one is definitely a keeper.
