The Samsung UNES7500 Smart HDTV was one of the television models presented at the CES 2012 event. The UNES7500 is Samsung’s new flagship LED television that is loaded with features.
Samsung UNES7500 Smart HDTV is part of the LED TV Series 7. It still has 240Hz refresh rate and is 3D-capable like the Samsung 32″ 3D D6350 Smart TV released last year. However, there are new features added to it.
Samsung’s LED UNES7500 TV Series features Edge-lit LED backlight with micro-dimming plus local dimming. Unlike the Samsung 55″ Naked-Eye 3D LCD TV, it will comes with two pairs of 3D glasses.
The biggest thing added in the Samsung UNES7500 TV is the camera with microphone on top of the TV. It is for gesture control, voice command and facial recognition.
It’s a Smart Hub connected TV suite so this HDTV will log the user in their Smart Hub profile to view Smart content and Smart Apps. It supports up to 20 different user accounts and up to 10 separate faces.
With voice control, the user may power on the Samsung UNES7500 Smart TV just by saying “Hi TV!” or even control the channels and volume. When browsing on Bing search engine, just say the words needed to be search and it will automatically be entered on the TV which is really cool!
It may not be as slim as the LG 55EM9600 55″ Cinema 3D OLED Smart HDTV (only 4mm) but the Samsung UNES7500 LED Smart TV is also very thin at 5.08mm or 0.2-inch bezel. At CES 2012 Samsung booth, the 75-inch model UN75ES7500 was showcased. However, it will also be available in 46, 50, 55, 60-inch models. Prices and release date are still to be announced.
