Samsung LN52A650 HDTV: Best Buy 9.99 TV Ad Error
The $9.99 Samsung LN52A650 HDTV is a Best Buy 9.99 TV advertisement error. We were too excited to write about the hot Samsung LN52A650 LCD TV (see our review in our January article) because it was advertised on Best Buy as a 9.99 TV. Many people did not believe the offer and they were right.
The Best Buy 9.99 TV posted on the site (Samsung LN52A650 LCD TV) was nothing but an error, mistake on the part of the shopping network. When we tried to order two units of Samsung LN52A650, Best Buy already realized the mistake and immediately declared the sale to be closed. Sold Out! That’s what the web page stated.
Samsung LN52A650: Advertised as Best Buy 9.99 TV
Now, if you feel shortchanged by the wrong posting on Best Buy 9.99 TV, don’t get too frustrated. Maybe in 5 years, this 52″ HDTV will be sold for $9.99. lol! Kidding aside, we were wondering how Best Buy would have handled it if some people who have placed their orders online have been informed of this typo error or something else. Can they sue the company if the company suddenly informs them that “No, you’re not getting this 52-inch TV for 9.99! You’ll get it for $1800″. What a more costly mistake it would have been if Best Buy was sued by the consumers who were ready to shell out $10 to get their hands on a Samsung LN52A650 TV set (see photo above).
