New Apple Mac Mini 2009 Price and Specifications
Apple releases new Mac Mini for 2009! However, despite the high price of Apple’s new Mac Mini, it is being anticipated by millions of curious and prospective buyers all over the globe. Mac Mini sports a squared look (you read it right, a perfect square). The design of Mac Mini is nothing conventional. Mac Mini is really the first mini notebook we’ve seen so far which has a cute casing which has the following dimensions: Height – 2 inches (5.08 cm); Width – 6.5 inches (16.51 cm); and Depth – 6.5 inches (16.51 cm). Mac Mini only weighs 2.9 pounds or 1.31 kilogram which makes it a lightweight notebook that you can bring anywhere you want to.

On the other hand, looking closely at the Mac mini prices and specifications, we feel that the price is too high. This is not the first time though that apple introduces a product that is viewed as expensive by many buyers. Some people we have talked to even said that Mac Mini, like many Apple products is made for the rich and not the middle class.
What Mac Mini 2009 notebook can you get with $599? Here are the specifications for that amount:
- 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
- 1GB memory
- 120GB hard drive
- 8x double-layer SuperDrive
- NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics
If you want an upgrade, you will have to pay for $799 and get the following upgraded parts for the Mac Mini, namely:
- 320GB hard drive
- 2GB memory
Do you have some more money to spare? You can customize your Mac Mini laptop for further upgrades. Instead of the built-in 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, you can request for a higher processor (say a 2.26 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Mac Mini’s processor limit) for an additional cost. How much? We don’t exactly know. What we know is, the new Mac Mini 2009 release is an expensive gadget to have and we cannot afford it.
