Lenovo Y410 Full Specifications and Features (with Photos)I have stated in my past article “Lenovo G410 Notebook/Laptop Computer: Full Specifications and Features” that I was also eying on getting a Lenovo Y410 Notebook/Laptop, a notebook with more features and powerful specs. In my next post, I will discuss the difference between the Lenovo Y410 and Lenovo G410 laptops because a friend already got himself the former.

Prices of the Lenovo Y410 notebook/laptop in the Philippines range between PhP 48K-52K (around $1,000-1,200 in the US, Europe and other parts of the world) depending on the location and add-ons (freebies) plus software packages. Aside from these, the Lenovo Y410 has a bluetooth device and a built-in webcam (1.3 megapixel camera). The Lenovo Y410, being a bluetooth-enabled laptop, clearly has an advantage over the Lenovo G410. More of these differences will be written after I have tested the two units thoroughly. Right now I am testing the Lenovo Y410 notebook/laptop of my friend and I will try to see how it differs with Lenovo G410 in terms of speed, functionality and other features. I hope to buy this unit soon when payments for my services as web designer are given by clients.

    Ganun ba fren, ibig sabihin mga sek6-7T+ ito dito, which is cheaper if i may say. Siguro kung lalampas na ng more than 10T dito eh, mas mataas na ang specs.

    Mhy,

    This is the problem here, when you buy a Lenovo G410 or Y410, prices in the Philippines are too high compared to prices of the same laptop/notebook models in Europe or US.

    @steve galos,
    Try this out. If you are XP user, i checked and it works. Press Fn – left corner bottom and ESC left corner top key and webcam will work within few seconds. No driver needed. I did go thru same issue and spent 2-3 hrs, this techtip can help many users, since webcam enable and disable is controlled by a function key. The webcam is USB type and it shows up in my computers screen below drive..c,d,e etc. as USB Video Device. For Vista (I did not try), there may be need for external drivers which are available to download from IBM website.
