HP Presents HP Mini 2140 Netbook
Hewlett Packard seems to be focused on producing more netbooks like HP Mini 2140 netbook, the latest HP Mini model. The HP Mini 2140 is powered by Intel’s Atom 1.6-GHz processor, with 1GB of RAM, 160GB 5400 rpm hard drive, and pre-installed with Windows XP, among other softwares. The basic price of HP Mini 2140 is under $500 but like any netbook, you can have the RAM and/or hard drive increased or upgraded (for a fee, of course).
The HP Mini 2140 is Hewlett Packard’s first netbook for 2009. It was launched to the public today. Comparing it with HP Mini 1000 netbook, the HP Mini 2140 netbook specs are slightly better overall (no significant upgrade in features in my view). HP Mini 1000 netbooks have these basic features: 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270, 128MB Mobile Intel 945GM, 1GB DDR2 SDRAM 533MHz, and 60GB 4,200rpm hard drive.

Ang mumura na talaga ng mga netbooks ngayon. Pero yang HP 2140 ang pinakamahal na nakita ko, magkano kaya yan dito. Dito so far ang mga prices ng netbooks ay not more than 4000sek.
Btw, Jess, may alam ka bang website diyan sa atin na pwedeng mapagbilhan ng mga ganitong netbooks? Gusto kong bilhan ang pamangkin ko kasi. At pautang na rin ha para makabili ako.

Let me see if my friends here have HP Mini 2140 available in their shelves. HP Mini 2140 is not yet available in the Philippines as far as I know but I’ll check it with my suppliers.
On a personal note, wag mo kong uutangan ngayon fren. Tigang na ang bank accounts ko after New Year. Hahaha!

I have checked the availability of HP Mini 2140 netbook in the Philippines. According to my contacts, HP Mini 2140 netbooks will be available in the Philippines in February. I’m not just sure with other suppliers if the same thing holds true. Also, I do not know the price of HP Mini 2140 in the Philippines once it hits the stores.

Ok, I’ll canvass for a cheap netbook. Yeah, you’re right. The HP Mini 2140 netbook or Mini note will be very expensive when it becomes available in the Philippines.
