    I think AMD Turion X2 is a slow processor for a notebook such as the HP Pavilion 17″ AMD Dual Core 2.1GHz Entertainment Notebook. Do you think it will really cope up with the workload of an “Entertainment Notebook”? IMHO, the Core 2 Duo is a much faster and better processor for this HP Pavilion notebook.

    I agree. I think the Core 2 Duo or Dual Core processor is best suited for the HP Pavilion 17″ AMD Dual Core 2.1GHz Entertainment Notebook. I’m not just sure about the increase in price if either of the 2 processors was installed in this entertainment notebook.

    I got my daughter a HP Pavilion 17″ AMD Dual Core 2.1GHz Entertainment Notebook and man, it rocks. It’s fast and looks very classy. The processor is alright man. No problem whatsoever with it so far.

    TRASH computer, overheating around 90 C the CPU, crashing the video card, then wireless, no technical support about it in most cases… read forums and avoid hp flat design
