Asus rolled out the EEE PC 900 Notebook with 1.6Ghz Atom Processor with a bang some time ago. Now, Asus EEE PC 900 Notebook with 1.6Ghz Atom Processor is on sale once more for roughly $170 (brand new) on woot.com. This notebook is really cute and attractive, in my humble opinion.

Though there are more powerful notebooks out there, the Asus EEE PC 900 Notebook with 1.6Ghz Atom Processor stands out because of its good design and overall functionality. However, for those with vision impairments, the 8.9-inch screen size may not be ideal.

Asus EEE PC 900 Notebook with 1.6Ghz Atom Processor Review: The best thing about this netbook is it’s ultra portability. it can even fit into a larger-than-usual pockets because of its sleek design and very light weight. Take it anywhere and go online anytime even when you’re on the bus without worrying about too much space because it’s slightly larger than a PSP console. However, for power users, you will definitely find the Asus EEE PC 900 netbook with 1.6Ghz Atom processor lacking in power and speed. This will not handle too many multitasks. If you’re just going to check and send emails and browse a little that would be fine. But do not expect this notebook to serve you well when you open 50 tabs in Firefox while downloading movies on Torrents. You’ll need better and more powerful netbooks such as HP Mini 1150NR and HP Mini 1151NR if you for these multitasks to get done without having too much problems. The SSD Drive limitation (only 4GB) could also pose some serious problems especially when it reaches critical point. The netbook might suddenly freeze and the system would become unstable.
