Apple iPad Tablet PC Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 3G Price Tags and Availability
U.S. customers may now buy either the Apple iPad Tablet PC Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi+3G models via Apple’s online shop. Other interested buyers may also make reservations at Apple’s retail stores for iPad tablet computers. The iPad became available on all Apple retail shops beginning April 3. The prices for the two iPad models are as follows: Apple iPad Wi-Fi model retails for $499 for the 16GB model, $599 for 32GB, and $699 for 64GB. The Wi-Fi+3G model range will only become available towards the end of April with price tags of US$629 for 16GB, US$729 for 32GB and US$829 for 64GB. Apple Inc. also announced that both iPad models will be available starting late April in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK.
Apple iPad Tablet PC Price is Affordable
The rest of the world will have to wait for a few more months to get their hands on the iPad. If you live in the Philippines but have relatives in the U.S., you can ask them to buy one for you and have them shipped it to your home country. The Apple iPad is just 0.5-inch thick and weighs only 1.5lbs so shipping it should be cheap and easy.
“The iPad is something completely new. We’re excited for customers to get their hands on this magical and revolutionary product and connect with their apps and content in a more intimate, intuitive and fun way than ever before“, said Apple CEO Steve Jobs. The iPad is already being predicted as another best-selling Apple gadget. Experts are saying it might attain cult icon status like what the iPod and iPhone have achieved. Industry analysts say the iPad will probably sell as much as 500,000 units within the first week and 2-5 million units for 2010.
