The Acer Aspire Core2 Duo 16″ notebook (Acer Aspire AS6930-6067 or AS6935-6194) has received some good reviews in the past. Here’s our take. With an astonishing memory capacity (4GB) and highly dependable Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile Processor, this notebook is really fast. Based on personal experience, Core 2 Duo processors coupled with a high RAM perform better than most processors designed for laptops. With these basic specs, you can be sure Acer Aspire Core2 Duo 16″ notebook / Acer Aspire AS6930-6067 or AS6935-6194 can handle multitasking jobs without any felt difficulty. It is also very good for playing video games like The Sims 3 and other MMORPG games, thanks to its powerful built-in video card, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD.

Also, with most sellers retailing Acer Aspire Core2 Duo 16″ notebook with a 320GB HDD, you can partition the hard drive into two and install Linux Ubuntu 9.04 or PCLinuxOS see and how it works under Linux. Our Acer Travelmate 6292-6B2G25Mn notebook, a smaller version (12.1-inch screen) can even last up to 4 hours of continued use.
