Leader GS30 Android Tablet PC Price, Specs and Release Date Revealed
Yet another company is joining the tablet computer bandwagon. But this one is setting itself apart from the competition by offering a high-quality product. The Leader GS30 Android tablet PC has a scheduled release date next month in the US, March 2011. The price is set at US$450.
It looks an iPad but it is another premium Android tablet PC called the Leader GS30.
It’s cheaper than the original Apple iPad and yet comes with more impressive specs in our opinion. The Leader GS30 Android tablet will sport a 9.7-inch IPS LCD display with 1024 x 768 resolution and it’s fully multi-touch capable. Since this product is aimed for the higher end of the market, the Leader GS30 with Android OS will be wrapped in a brushed-metal body casing.
Looks matter a lot now that the tablet market is getting saturated. The Leader GS30 is a beautiful machine and of course, it has the brains to match. Under the hood is a powerful 1 GHz Samsung S5PC110 A8 processor with 512MB of RAM! Thanks to this speedy CPU, the Leader GS30 will play 1080p HD videos with ease.
Accordingly, this tablet will ship with dual-camera system. There’s a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and another 5-megapixel camera at the back. The Leader GS30 will be available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB models. Battery life is also excellent with the default 7500mAh battery which should run up to 8 hours of normal use.
