TriGem Tabit 10.1-inch Android OS 2.2 Froyo Tablet PC Specs & Release Date Rumors
Move over Samsung and LG, another South Korean company is moving in to your tablet territory. TriGem, a company more famous for making Averatec-branded netbooks and AIO desktop PC is hoping to also cash in on the current hype around tablet computers. The company just unveiled their latest creation, the Tabit Android tablet PC.

Tabit is TriGem's first Tegra 2-powered Android Tablet that's coming soon by June.
The TriGem Tabit is an Android 2.2 tablet computer with a larger than the iPad, 10.1-inch capacitive display. Like the iPad 2, the Tabit is also packing an impressive dual-core processor courtesy of its Nvidia Tegra 2 chip! Too bad, TriGem isn’t shipping this with the latest Android OS 3.0 Honeycomb like what the Motorola Xoom had when it launched as well as the new Kogan Agora 7″ Android OS 2.3 Tablet PC.
Gamers should already expect this tablet to rival the iPad 2’s graphics processing power. Its Nvidia Tegra 2 chip comes with a powerful but low-power consuming GeForce 333 series GPU. As soon as more Android developers starts supporting the Unreal Engine 3, expect beautiful, desktop-like gaming experience on the Tabit.
TriGem has yet to announce final release date and pricing but the Tabit will come most probably around June at price tags below $600. Other features mentioned for this tablet are WiFi b/g/n, 3G, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, microSD and HDMI port. TriGem revealed that Tabit will come with several free apps and special eBook app which directly connects user to an online library full of 2 million ebooks, most of which are going to be free.
