Apple iPad Release Date on AT&T and Verizon Wireless

AT&T and Verizon Wireless are huge rivals in mobile telecommunication and other wireless services. AT&T is on an exclusive contract with Apple for the iPhone but it is about to expire. Looks like AT&T is now losing its grip on Apple. Verizon Wireless is obviously heating up the competition with AT&T but not on the iPhone 4. On what product are they competing on? Apple iPad on Verizon Wireless and AT&T

Apple iPad is now available on two mobile network service providers.

The Apple iPad tablet PC is now available on AT&T and Verizon Wireless. According to Apple’s press release, AT&T offers the Apple iPad with Wi-Fi + 3G (or iPad 3G) models while, Verizon Wireless offers models of the iPad with Wi-Fi only.

The Apple iPad release date on both networks was on October 28, 2010. The two networks released different iPad models at the same prices. Why? The answer is on the network services.

Aside from the Apple iPad, Verizon and AT&T will also be competing on the services of the iPhone 4 or iPhone 5. Consumers are now expecting the Verizon iPhone this 2011.
