iPhone 3.0 OS Update for the iPhone 3G
If you own an iPhone 3G and really dying for an OS update/upgrade, then welcome iPhone 3.0 OS this coming March 17, 2009. iPhone OS gets an upgrade with firmware v3.0. The new iPhone firmware v3.0 is a product of research and consultation with users of the iPhone and it promises some great improvement in the way iPhone handles files.

However, up until now, there is no true hint as to the specific improvements Apple made on iPhone 3.0 OS. That remains to be seen after the official announcement on the release date specified above. We hope, as iPhone lovers, that the iPhone 3.0 OS will be made free to iPhone and iPod users worldwide just like when Apple released the iPhone 2.2.1 firmware update which was made available in iTunes 8 earlier this year (fingers crossed).

the iPone PS3 is only for developers right now. why would he want to upgrade to a beta. if you upgrade then you will not be able to go back to a stable version of os 2. 3.0 is still in development so don’t upgrade yet
the 3.0 update still isnt out…it is supposed to be out around june/july
well its june 17th itunes needs to release the damn upgrade HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
