iPhone MMS Update: Can AT&T Handle iPhone Picture Messaging?
AT&T has announced that iPhone MMS Update will be available this morning of September 25, 2009. iPhone MMS will be enabled through an iPhone software update (iPhone 3.1.2 firmware). To notify customers of the iPhone MMS Update, the carrier will be sending messages to customers notifying them that iPhone MMS Update is already available. Now, here is the bug question on the part of AT&T. Can AT&T be able to handle such sudden surge of iPhone MMS participants?
According to rumors, AT&T is a little anxious of the iPhone MMS release or launch. The alleged unofficial report says the carrier had experienced system outages on its pilot launch.
