iPhone 3G New Year 2009 Sale Promo at Walmart
Walmart has started selling iPhone 3G as part of their Holiday 2009 sale promo. Christmas and New Year sale promos on Walmart have been good thus far, offering shoppers big discounts on many items like iPhone 3G and other cool gadgets. Before buying, it is recommended that you read first the iPhone 3G features.
iPhone 3G New Year Sale 2009 Promo at Walmart
As to the iPhone 3G New Year 2009 sale at Walmart, I could say that the difference between the advertised selling price does not differ significantly from the selling price indicated at the Apple store. The black 8GB iPhone 3G unit can be purchased at US$197 while the 16GB black or white model is sold at $297. At the Apple store, iPhone 3G is sold starting from $199, a two-dollar difference from Walmart’s selling price.
iPhone 3G models with other colors are priced higher. Also, your country of origin or location can also be a factor why you will pay more for the iPhone 3G (if you will purchase online).
While iPhone 3G is already available in many countries, it is NOT yet available in Thailand, Qatar and Jordan.
The iPhone 3G sold at Walmart outlets come with a two-year contract with AT&T. If you’re not comfortable with it, try looking for hot iPhone 3G New Year deals from other stores like Best Buy.
Last but not the least, iPhone 3G units sold come with upgraded iPhone 2.2 firmware, an upgrade made by Apple on the iPhone 3G firmware which fixed several bugs in the hottest phone model ever made (so far).
