PROS:
- The extension wand is GREAT … it works on the stairs and you don’t have to break your back trying to carry the whole vacuum up.
- The One touch button to disable the rotating brush is nice and easy to go from carpet to tile to rugs
- The way the bin is designed is easy to empty and easy to pop on and off without touching the yuck.
- NO MORE FILTERS TO BUY EVER!
- Extremely powerful, the fibers in my carpet are left standing at full attention!
- It is pretty quiet as far as vacuums go.
- The ball makes it easy to veer around corners and between things
- The turbine head is great and gives your upholstery a nice freshening.
- It has a rubber bumper on the front so if you get a little excited and bang into something, you just bounce off.
CONS:
- The price tag is not for the faint of heart … but so worth it.
- Yes … that cord is a little cumbersome, but on the pro side, it is nice and long!
OTHER NOTES…
- Have seen people complain about the manual … I thought it was fine, seriously how much direction do you need?
- The vacuum isn’t feather light, but it is sturdy and quality, plus it has a nice strong handle that makes it easy to carry.

The Dyson DC15 Animal Cyclone vacuum is often compared to Dyson DC25 vacuum model. Well here are the differences between Dyson DC15 and Dyson DC25. Dyson DC25 weighs 16.12 pounds while Dyson DC15 is a bit heavier at 19.2 pounds. Regarding the dust bin capacity, DC15 Animal can contain 0.71 Gallons while the DC25 can carry 0.31 gallon only. Another thing is that Dyson DC15 Animal comes with low reach floor tool and carpet care kit while DC25 doesn’t.
