It is convenient for morning use because it grinds and brews coffee automatically. Just fill up the grinder and the Cuisinart DGB-900BC coffee maker does the job. No need to manually fill up the grinder unlike its old model, the Cuisinart DGB-600BC.

Another advantage of Cuisinart DGB-900BC 12 cup automatic coffee maker is that it has a large bean hopper. It is simple to operate and easy to clean. It also has a fill level indicator at the side that is pretty helpful. One review also stated that the temperature is perfect. The base warms the thermal carafe when the machine goes on, then goes off when the brew is complete. In short, Cuisinart DGB-900BC coffee maker is a well engineered grinder and brewer.
However, here are some disadvantages stated among Cuisinart DGB-900BC 12 Cup Automatic Coffee Maker customer reviews. The grinds of the coffee beans are mostly coarse. It uses twice as much beans compared to a manual grinder with 60% increase in bean consumption. That’s quite much of wasted coffee beans. It is also messy to pour the remaining coffee at the bottom and has some fine grinds that subsided on it. To avoid the mess, take the top off so it won’t drip all over.
Overall, the Cuisinart DGB-900BC 12 cup automatic coffee maker is an excellent and marvelous coffee maker. It’s nicely constructed and of good quality for a grind and brew coffee maker. However, it grinds coffee beans a little coarse. It makes great-tasting coffee though. It is a little loud but hey! It is a grinder so its been expected to make some noise.
