This Sony Handycam digital video camcorder was first announced on July 13, 2010 in San Diego, California. The Sony NEX-VG10 Handycam HD Camcorder is the first consumer digital video camcorder with interchangeable lens. The NEX-VG10 is also Sony’s first Handycam that features an extra-large Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor.
