- 3.5-inch touch screen
- POI manager also helps you easily find gas stations, restaurants, ATMs, coffee shops, and much more
- POI Manager enables you to transfer custom points of interest files from your computer to your Magellan RoadMate 3000T
- RoadMate can be set to automatically increase the volume when the vehicle exceeds 45 MPH in order to compensate for road noise
- Button functions: mute speaker, zoom out button, power/sleep button, zoom in button, charging indicator, locate button, destination menu/view, main menu, enter, navigation key, and escape
- Connections: stereo headphone connection, USB connection, and power connection
- Has memory slot for SD/MMC cards. Allows you to backup navigation data or to store music and photos
- Map version included is 2005 – North America (USA and Canada) (2008 version is available for download on Magellan website)
- Music Player enables you to play music files in MP3, or WMA format stored on an optional memory card
- QuickSpell narrows your address and city searches, making destination entry easy
- System Settings Menu contains system wide customization features which include: brightness, power management, password, and language
- Photo Viewer enables you to view image files in JPG and BMP format, stored on an optional memory card
- Power Management feature enables you to customize the feature that will conserve battery power and display life
Magellan Roadmate 3.5″ Portable GPS Device’s features are great but lacks some of the modern features that can be seen in other cool GPS devices like Garmin Nuvi 885T 4.3″ Voice Activated GPS Navigator and TomTom XL 325S Text-to-Speech GPS. Magellan Roadmate 3.5″ Portable GPS 3000T is a bit left behind compared to the models mentioned above because both have speech recognition or voice command feature. Such technology comes at a higher price of course and with the 3.5-inch Magellan Roadmate 3000T Portable GPS Navigator, you only get what you pay for.
