The TomTom for iPhone 3G App is built for those who want the two devices on hand. Call using iPhone 3G and get directions using TomTom Maps.
But hey, we were really hoping the TomTom iPhone App is free but unfortunately for bargain hunters, this isn’t the case. Sorry but we got disappointed, too. A free TomTom iPhone App that is ready for download via iTunes is something millions would have hoped for. A more detailed explanation will be given in the next article (in queue).

TomTom Car Kit for iPhone 3G Photo
The TomTom solution combines two new TomTom products to provide users with state of the art in-car navigation on their iPhone 3G:
- The TomTom navigation application for iPhone; an Apple version of TomTom’s award-winning turn-by-turn navigation software, including IQ Routes and latest maps from Tele Atlas;
- The TomTom car kit for iPhone; a specially developed car kit for secure docking, enhanced GPS performance, clear voice instructions, hands-free calling and in-car charging.
The TomTom navigation application for iPhone will be available via the Apple iTunes App Store, following the release of Apple’s OS 3.0 operating system. Details regarding pricing and availability for both the application and the TomTom car kit for iPhone will be made available in advance of the products’ launch later this summer.
Aside from the photo, you can watch a video of TomTom iPhone App to get a preview of its specs and features. Real-life look and feel may be different from the product in the promo video and photo. TomTom iPhone release date in your country could vary. There is no definite release date for this item as availability from one region to another differs.
