Pantech Pursuit II Brew OS-powered Smartphone Price and Release Date Announced by AT&T
Pantech USA and AT&T announced the release of the new Pantech Pursuit II messaging smartphone. The Pursuit II is the successor to the very successful Pantech Pursuit handset released last year. AT&T confirmed that the Pursuit II launched on July 17 across the USA.If you think HTC Panache is a good budget phone already, look at the details of this deal. It’s good to see that despite the incredible domination of Android in mass-market smartphone sector, Pantech is still bold enough to offer a Brew Mobile Platform-based phone.

The Pursuit II has a 2.8-inch touchscreen display and has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. This phone still performs fast despite the fact that it uses a 230MHz QSC 6270 ARM9 processor, thanks to the memory-friendly Brew OS.
The Pantech Pursuit II has a full HTML browser for PC-like internet experience. It’s a trendy quick-messaging handset that’s pre-installed with social media widgets. Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, and other popular networking sites are just one touch away. Mobile email and Instant Messaging are also included so you will always be reachable by your friends and relatives. It supports UMTS and HSDPA data connectivity.
As an added bonus, AT&T Navigator is installed for turn-by-turn GPS navigation. The Pursuit II is available in stylish green and pink color. It has USB 2.0 connectivity for easy file transferring from computer.
There’s also a microSD card slot for up to 32GB storage expansion. The 2.0 megapixel camera has 4x digital zoom and can also record video in VGA quality.
