Nokia N95 8GB Clone (China Made): Full Specifications and Features
If you are wondering what are the Nokia N95 8GB Clone (made in China) cell phone specifications and features, look no further because they’re very very similar to the original Nokia N95 cell phones. Believe me, knockoff cell phones made in China like the Nokia N95 8GB Clone units look real if you’re not used to seeing original Nokia cell phones. The Chinese are really doing great in creating knockoff mobile phones.
The N95 8GB Clone (China made) was actually offered to me by a friend in Laoag City, Philippines. This knockoff Nokia N95 model is only sold in stores in the Philippines for Php 4,000 or less. Just like the Toshibo N99i V9+i Mobile TV Knockoff Nokia model, the Nokia N95 8GB Clone’s operating system is NOT Symbian. It is also PDA-like with a touch screen (stylus provided). Except for that, the full specifications and features of the Nokia N95 8GB Clone (China made) mobile phones are virtually the same as the original Nokia N95 8GB model.

A significant difference in the original Nokia N95 8GB model and the Nokia N95 8GB Clone model is that the clarity of shots made by the camera. Although on paper, the Nokia N95 8GB Clone is advertised as a 5-megapixel camera, the shots are far inferior than the original Nokia N95. In addition, the battery life of China-made Nokia N95 cell phones is a lot shorter than the original Nokia N95’s battery.
On the other hand, the Nokia N95 8GB clone model is packed with most of the great features of the original Nokia model. If you want to play around with it, then go on and have fun. I just cannot guarantee you its overall quality because reports have it that their batteries do not last long and caused some users in the past big problems. The programming of the operating system is sometimes buggy. In one of my tests on the China-made Nokia N95 8GB clone model, the keypad stuck at some point and I had to reset the phone by removing the battery then putting it back on again. Fake China-made cell phones are flooding the Philippine market because they are cheap. However, if you have extra money, I highly recommend that you buy original phones like Sony Ericsson and Blackberry Storm/Thunder.

Nokia phone lover,
I agree. In fact, I will get a Nokia N95 8GB Clone cell phone unit today and test it thoroughly and see its weaknesses and problems so that I can post them here for the benefit of Nokia N95 clone users. I was told that like other China-made cell phone, the Nokia N95 clone is having some problems connecting to the internet. WAP settings sometimes don’t work. Well, that’s just what old users told me so I better check it out myself.

By the way, where are you from? In the Philippines, Nokia N95 8GB clones cost about Php 4,000 (in Manila and provincial stores).

Fren,
I’ve tested the Nokia N95 8GB Clone cell phone already for about 3 hours. The features and specs are great but like I said, I still have to test it thoroughly because the long-term use of the gadget could show us problems like short battery life or buggy programming inherent in China-made cell phones like the Nokia N95 8GB clone and Nokia N99i V9+i models.

Nagkalat na ang phone na yan pati sa bangketa meron na rin. Naki “uzi” rin ako at nalaman ko na mas magaan ito kaysa sa original. At yung later models meron na rin analog TV receiver. Haha may antena pa! Pero ok na rin ito. Sigiro nasa pag iingat na lang sa paggamit. Iwasan ang alikabok hehe. Yung isa kong barkada tumagal na rin yung kanya, mga 2 months na at di pa naman sira.

Sure no problem. One of the biggest problems with the China-made Nokia N95 8GB clone is the battery life. I have asked for another battery because the vendor gave me a used battery. This is usually the case that is why when buying a Nokia N95 8GB (China-made) clone cell phone, I suggest you inspect all the accessories included in the package.

Sammy,
Unfortunately, the Nokia N95 8Gb Clone phone is China-made. As such, you cannot install any mobile OS in it. The Nokia N95 clone’s OS is not symbian and it’s “what you see is what you get” mobile phone. This means that it’s not fleible and you can’t do pretty much anything about it in its present state.
Also, yes the Nokia N95 clone has a 5MP camera but it doen’t have GPS, only GPRS and MMS.

The OS is supposedly Nucleus a custom made OS it has some sort of C++ internals?
Its a rtos and there exists a firm that made it…
The architecture is based on a ARM compatibile CPU the MTK6226ab
Wether there will be prots or drivers, remains to be seen.
The serial (debug/flash) interface is very porly documented… (IMHO)
YMMV

These fake and failed China phones make my N95 8gb feel really sad =(.
When these china phones can match the exact specifications of the original, then, maybe I’ll have respect for the clones. However, what can ever beat the original? If my phone could walk and talk, it wouldn’t say anything, it would just kick the china phone’s ass >.<
on other notes:
you can’t really change much to your clones people, their internal systems are just some old Nokia hacked OS. Can’t change a thing about them.
[Reply]
This is bullshit, ALL THE ABOVE SPECIFICATIONS ARE FALSE!!,
The Chinese Clone Nokia N95 8GB is COMPLETELY different than the Original Nokia N95 8GB!
below some Specs about the clone Nokia N95 8GB!
Firstly, The Clone Nokia N95 8GB made by a company called “CECT” which makes shit copies of mobile phones not only Nokia others as well, such as, iPhone, Blackberry, Motorola, Samsung, Sony Ericsson etc..
With this clone shit You get Dual Band 850 / 900 That’s works only part of the world. It doesn’t work in North, Middle, and some South of America. Also, it doesn’t work in whole Europe neither in Asia such as Middle East. One more thing it does not support 3G network.
And the battery for stand by 1 day and for talking time is 1 hour and half. And it isn’t the original Lithium battery, it is a copy one as well.
And the weight of the phone is about 90g which the original one weights about 120g. When you hold the copy one you can notice the difference straight away, and you will say this is crap. Also, the buttons are very dodgy and shaky, it feels like someone just gulped them.
The Camera if i tell you, you won’t believe me! If you have a webcam or a Laptop with built-in cam. Is much better than this piece of crap. Well what do you expect it is ONLY 0.3 MegaPixel, I will say it again “ZERO POINT THREE MEGA PIXEL” if you take a picture in a beautiful sunny day, is like taking a picture in a dark night place.
Also, This Nokia N95 8Gb clone it doesn’t come with Wi-Fi, Java, and you CAN NOT update the firmware or do any changes to it because Cect used some sort of Open Source software. So is not like Windows Mobile, Symbol or Firmware you can download updates and install them.
On more thing This crap clone chinese Nokia N95 8GB, The MMS and GPRS is disabled, because Cect haven’t install the software correctly, That’s means you can’t send Multimedia Message nor Accessing the Internet using GPRS.
Thank you and Take my advice, DO NOT BUY ONE because it is worthless piece of shit.
How do I know all this??
Well, I have about 5 of Clone Nokia and Iphones mobile phones including the Nokia N95, N95 8GB, N96, and I like to mess around with them, for instance take some part of them and through them in the bin.

i just wonder, with china made mp3/mp4 players, we can extract it’s firmware to get it’s firmware for back-up, then upload a new compatible firmware to it, so it will have another firmware from another mp4 player (to hopefully have a better user interface to it or just to change it’s look or theme).
I’m wondering if we can also do that to china made phones such as nokia cloned n95 8gb. and then upload a new firmware to it that is compatible. example: nokia 6300 cloned (china made) has almost the same os with an original philippine made phone : MYPHONE B73 (model). but the difference is that the myphone b73 has better theme than the nokia 6300 clone, it has better features, etc.. they also have the same look and everything even the ports, keypad, usb port.. the hardware is the same. it’s just that the myphone b73 has better features. it’s like the nokia 6300 has windows 2000 OS and the myphone B73 has windows XP OS.
I’m not a genius and It is just a stupid idea that came into my mind. i’m just wondering if someone can actually do that trick to china made phones.. then it’s a start for us to hack their technology.. and be happy with what we bought with our hard-earned money.
