Nokia N95 8Gb Clone China-made Cell Phones

September 26, 2008 · Filed Under Cell Phones/Mobile Phones

The reason why the title of this article is “Nokia N95 8Gb Clone China-made Cell Phones” is because there are two variants of the Nokia N95 clone made by the Chinese – one without a built-in TV and the other is with a built-in TV. I will discuss the differences of the two models as an update to my previous article “Nokia N95 8GB Clone (China Made): Full Specifications and Features” (see photo, prices, full specifications and features of the original and clone Nokia N95 8GB in that article).

The following differences in the two Nokia N95 clone models are initial observations and they may vary from your own experiences. Most times, I find China-made mobile phones “unpredictable”. Some work well while others are no better than junk items. Here they are:

Sizes and weights of the cell phones

The Nokia N95 clone with a built-in TV is much larger and heavier. Its width is between 1-2 cms wider and weighs about 30 grams more (estimates) than the model without a TV receiver. This also makes its screen size bigger.

Additional features of the cell phones

The Nokia N95 clone with a built-in TV has an antenna for picking up TV and FM radio signals while the model without a built-in TV does not have an antenna. Also, the mobile phone variant with TV has a stylus that can be used as a pointing device for its touch screen (like other touch screen mobile phones and devices like PDA, iPhone 3G, Black Berry Storm/Thunder and the new Google Android Phone). Yup, touch screens are becoming a trend nowadays in smartphones.

Picture Quality

The Nokia N95 8GB clone with a TV captures clearer pictures because it has a built-in flash. The photos captured by the one without a TV is dimmer.

For now, these are the significant differences I have observed in the two variants of the China-Made Nokia N95 8GB Clones. I will update this site soon if I have tested them both further. I will include in my update the followng: battery life, navigation, operating system, free games and free themes availability, internet connection via WAP and GPRS, and overall performance.

    Dongkiss,

There must be something wrong with your N95’s wiring. bring it to the vendor who sold you that unit and have it checked. Also, you may try updating your N95 8Gb at the store just to verify if the update works.

Hello I am from Ilocos sur one of the town connecting Candon City and get in touch with these cloned cellphones i am amazed on its features and on the very cheap price. I have also visited your site cause i need to flood my mind with many ideas of encouragement for me to buy the cloned phone either choose from the two, the N95 cloned with TV or the N99i cloned. My questions are:

    1. After you have configured the WAP of this cloned phone, will you, or can you, be able to use the Internet send emails and receive or even surf and download?

    2. I also read in your site that the batteries of this cloned phones do not last for a time maybe 2 months or more… My question is. Is it possible to the battery to original NOKIA batteries? What will happen if u change them? We’ll they work as normal?

    3. Can we change the OS or operating system of this cloned phones? Can we format this phones and download the symbian OS if available and copy it to these cloned phones? Is it possible to work?

4.. Lastly Is it compatible in an ordinary PC or computer? can you however, copy files, musics, videos, etc. to these two cloned phones…? I am referring to the Fake models of N95, N97 and N99i
    CLONED.

Please email me before i allow myself from myself from buying it… thanks. Here is my email address lcahatol@gmail.com. Thanks for help..more power….
