THE LG COOKIE CELLPHONE SUCKS. IT HAS SO MANY PROBLEMS. PROBLEMS WITH LG COOKIE SHOULD BE THE MAIN REASON WHY LG COOKIE SHOULD BE PHASED OUT.

if u want a cheap, easy, no lag phone then the lg cookie is 4 u. On the other the 5800 Xpress Music is better obviously, but costs about $500 more than the cookie. So its up 2 u.

Well, both phones: LG Cookie and Nokia 5800 have their own problems. I’ve had the chance of using both of them and I can say both of them kinda suck. First, let’s talk about the LG phone. It’s LAGGY and SLOW, and when I say that , I really mean it. It’s got a proprietary OS, which sucks because there aren’t many apps for it and it’s not very customizable. The camera isn’t that great and internet browsing is crappy. Despite all of that it’s not bad looking and it just fine as a day-by-day regular phone.
The Nokia 5800 is better than the Cookie but still is not so good. It’s slightly faster but the most annoyng thing about it is that it runs Symbian OS (I mean, c’mon… it’s a touch screen phone and it should do better than that). Internet browsing is ok for a Symbian phone but the apps aren’t that great. They are like the old Symbian applications(instead, these ones make use of the accelerometer)and the graphics are crappy. As a music device, the Nokia 5800 is good and the media player is rich in options.
I would recommend Nokia 5800 because it’s faster, with more apps than the LG cookie and it looks better.

LG KP500 is not slow, glitchy or anything else. the camera of LG Cookie is brilliant and the fact that it takes a 16 gb memory card , that’s better than most higher end phones
