HTC HD3 Specs Leaked: A Windows Phone 7 Superphone with 1.5GHz SnapDragon Processor!

Date Published: July 5, 2010

HTC HD 3 is on its way to your nearest gadgets store. HTC HD 3 release date could be on Q4 2010 according to some rumors. FYI, Microsoft and HTC are working on a prototype of the successor to the Windows Mobile 6.5-powered HTC HD2 smartphone. The HD3 concept model’s technical specs were leaked by a Chinese blogger and the details will even make the HTC EVO 4G, Motorola Droid X, and iPhone 4 blush in shame. Microsoft isn’t letting itself be buried in smartphone obscurity. Their Windows Phone 7 series phone from HTC will purportedly be equipped with an incredible 1.5 Ghz SnapDragon processor and will feature a huge 4.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with 1280×800 resolution. Retina Display you just got owned by the HD3!

If these leaked details won’t make you drool, then you are colder than a eunuch zombie. The HTC HD3 will not only have the fastest processor and highest-resolution display screen. It will also feature 1GB internal RAM by default and will have 4G connectivity! Here are the HTC HD3 leaked specs we’ve obtained:

  • 4.5-inch Super AMOLED multi-touch screen with 1280×800 resolution
  • 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor
  • 1080p HD video playback
  • 8-megapixel camera with dual-LEAD flash and 720p HD video recording
  • Super thin – just 10mm thick
  • 3G/4G connectivity
  • 1 GB onboard RAM
  • 32 GB Storage
  • 3.5” headphone jack
  • 1800mAh battery for super-long battery life
  • Bigger screen than HD2 but smaller physical size: 115mm x 65mm x 10mm

Microsoft and HTC have declined to comment on the said leak. But we all know that the Chinese blogger who first made it public may be believable since almost all smartphones and their parts are manufactured by Chinese subcontractors. We all just have to wait until October which is reportedly the time when Microsoft unveils their Windows Phone 7 Series phones. Take note also that HTC HD2 is not Upgradeable to Windows Phone 7. It only runs Windows Mobile 6.5 OS. If this bothers you, then wait for the HTC HD3 release date then pre-order this phone during its first 3 days of market release. We’re expecting this phone to be a huge hit because of its 1.5Ghz processor, the fastest mobile phone processor we know as of this writing.
