Unlocked Motorola Motozine 5 ZN5 Review: Cheap, Wifi-Enabled Mobile Phone

Date Published: November 12, 2009

The Motorola Motozine 5 ZN5 is one of the first ever modeshift tech mobile phones combining Kodak technology in one amazingly low-priced phone ($100). Motozine 5 ZN5 is a cheap, unlocked phone and is a pre-cursor to Motorola’s bid for higher pix camera phones. It is priced a bit lower than some 5-megapixel digital cameras, the optics that power the camera is a product of Kodak Imaging Technology which can be combined with Kodak Perfect Touch that will turn the pictures even more vivid, crisp and clear.

The camera technology has ultra-fast 5 megapixel camera, complete with auto-focus, low-light optimization, and a bright Xenon flash unlike other phones of its class utilizing dual LED flash which is noticeably less efficient than Xenon lights.

The Motorola Motozine 5 camera phone is optimized to work with KODAK EASYSHARE Software, which facilitates the printing of pictures anywhere Kodak Picture Kiosks  and Kodak All-in-One Printed is available via Bluetooth Wireless Technology. It also  provide one-touch access to KODAK Gallery or other Web sharing sites, by using ShoZu to easily move pictures off the device, allowing users to print, share and enjoy their photos anytime.

Motorola Motozine 5 ZN5 Review: The built in Edge or WiFi capability makes the Motorola Motozine 5 or ZN5 a runaway winner in terms of price and functionality. High speed browsing is possible with Edge or WiFi using the built in browser which delivers web contents into a format that fits with the phone’s screen for easy browsing. The only thing I notice is that when I tried to play my favorite Facebook apps, sorry to say but this phone does not support flash. Without a touchscreen, those who are used to phones with QWERTY keyboard might find this a bit inferior. However, if you’ll get to know this cell phone, you’ll appreciate the ease of navigation a plus because its keypads and navigation keys are comfortable to use. With Wifi enabled, internet browsing with Motozine 5 is easy. The screen is smaller than popular smartphones though. If you can live with these shortcomings, grab one, enjoy this phone and save some money. :-)

good worth, it was worth the money because the investment wasn’t huge. i like it because it’s an upgrade from my old qwerty phone. it’s processor is quick, screen is clear, it’s practical and easy to use. That’s what I like in an unlocked cell phone. i give it 2 thumbs up. i got my last one online i am happy with my purchase.
