In our own review of this phone, the HTC Droid Eris smartphone has lots of great features but the Motorola Droid has more sophisticated ones. One of its significant difference is of course its mobile phone operating system. The HTC Droid Eris utilizes android 1.5 OS while Moto Droid has version 2.0 (the most advanced so far among androids). However, Droid Eris by HTC may be an underdog but it’s far cheaper than the DROID by Motorola. HTC Droid Eris mobile phone may be acquired from Verizon Wireless for less than $100 with 2 year contract while Moto Droid is almost $200.
