Blackberry Storm 2 release date was simultaneous with Verizon’s unveiling of Motorola Droid Phone held this October 28, 2009. Blackberry Storm 2 9550 utilizes the 5.0 version of Blackberry OS. This touchscreen smartphone comes with a new slick and sexy outer shell, additional apps and higher technical specs. Two of Blackberry Storm 2 9550’s new features are its WiFi connectivity and its next-gen SurePress technology which provides better typing accuracy. With this cell phone/mobile phone, we may use the virtual QWERTY keyboard in landscape or portrait mode.
