Radioshack Selling HTC EVO Shift 4G Android Phone for $149.99 (CES 2011 Highlights)
Radioshack has landed a sweet distribution deal for the just-recently debut HTC EVO Shift 4G Android Phone. All its stores in the US will carry this new Sprint-branded HTC Evo Shift 4G superphone. Radioshack is selling the Shift 4G for $149.99 with a new two-year service contract with Sprint.

You can buy HTC EVO Shift 4G for under $150 from Radioshack starting this month
The EVO Shift 4G, which saw its commercial launch at last week’s CES 2011 in Las Vegas, will also be available for sale unsubsidized from Radioshack for $449.99. If you don’t like Sprint but you want to try out this phone, buy it from any Radioshack and tell the salesperson you want the unlocked HTC EVO Shift 4G.
The HTC EVO Shift 4G is equipped with a 3.6 inch capacitive display and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It also has a 5-megapixel camera that can record HD video in 720p resolution. Sadly, Sprint will be shipping this phone with the older Android OS 2.2 Froyo instead of the latest Android OS 2.3 Gingerbread edition. While this phone is 4G, Sprint confirms it is 100% compatible with their existing 3G network.
Be warned, this phone maybe 4G and has the latest hardware but it still has no front-facing camera like what the iPhone 4 has. It’s cheaper yes but not the best alternative to Apple’s product. That’s just my humble opinion though.
