HTC Desire HD Android Phone Release Date: Impressive Specs Include Android OS 2.2 Froyo
Want to know more about the new HTC Desire HD? Taiwanese phone maker HTC finally unveiled their latest Android phone for the European and Asian Market. The HTC Desire HD android phone is the company’s latest offering for the Android fanatics. The slab-shaped phone runs Android OS 2.2 Froyo and features a new upgraded 8 Megapixel camera that’s autofocus has 2 LED flashes. This phone can also capture HD videos up to 720p resolution with amazing clarity.
The HTC Desire HD is the successor to Britian’s best-selling HTC Desire. It has a bigger 4.3-inch display screen and 1 GHz Snapdragon processor.

The memory of HTC Desire HD has also been upgraded to 768MB RAM and HTC confirmed that this phone will be using the Adreno 205 graphics accelerator for better 3D gaming performance.
Industry observers say the HTC Desire HD is comparable to the US market’s HTC EVO 4G in terms of performance and value for price. Actual release date of HTC Desire HD is yet to be announced so stay tuned for more news about this exciting new android phone.
In addition, aside from being a better version of the first HTC Desire droid phone, the HTC Desire HD also borrowed the HTC Legend Android phone’s design. The only design difference we noticed is that the Desire HD now comes clad in a unibody aluminum chassis.
Corporate officials hinted that HTC Desire HD release date could possibly be in October 2010 but they refused to give neither a specific release date in the US, UK, Canada and the vast majority of Europe, nor price quotes.
