With iGo universal power adapter, you can eliminate extra baggage for having one item for two or more purposes especially for travels. Another advantage is that iGo Universal AC/DC Power Adapter set comes with a travel pouch. However, the pouch is just made of nylon and looks cheap.

The retractable cord is a very nifty idea, but also a bit cumbersome as it makes the cord very heavy, and thus it becomes impossible to balance the device you’re charging on, say, the arm of a chair or a dashboard unless you find a way to secure it against something else so the weight of the cord doesn’t drag your electronic device to crash on the floor. Also, the included carry-bag is rather flimsy, and doesn’t have spare room for more than one or two tips (and even then it’s not a very secure arrangement as stuff tends to just fall right back out of the elastic edges of the case). And this may be just me, but I’ve never been able to get a full charge out of the car charger. It’ll boost it over half the battery, but never seems to reach fully charged.
If you’re planning to buy this iGo Universal AC/DC Power Adapter set, be sure to know what tip to purchase along with it. The iGo PS00252 Universal AC/DC Power Adapter Kit usually does not come with the tip because it’s the customer’s discretion on what tip is needed for his/her electronic device(s).
