Samsung Electronics made another big splash in Las Vegas. Their new Samsung BD-D7500 Blu-Ray disc player won the prestigious CES 2011’s Best of Innovation Award! Jurors and attendees alike raved about the BD-D7500’s groundbreaking features.
The Samsung BD-D7500 is the world’s thinnest 3D-compatible Blu-Ray player. Its 0.90 inch thickness is a great feat of engineering. No other players in the world today have breached the 1-inch mark record set by this new gizmo.
The 3D technology in the BD-D7500 also comes with a surprising ability to convert 2D video content into full 3D version. Movie watching will also greatly benefit from the BD-DD7500’s ability to upscale lower-resolution videos in to up full 1080p quality.
Furthermore, this has built-in Wi-Fi and DLNA connectivity options. It has direct access to Samsung Apps and content streaming Hub. The Samsung BD-D7500 is scheduled to hit commercial launch before June this year so watch out for the release date before mid-year.
