Some Motorola Aura Technical Specifications: Is it Worth $2K?
Most of us can’t bring home Motorola Aura because of its exorbitant price tag. But to those who can afford to have one, lets look at what Motorola Aura has to offer for $2000 (yeah, it’s more pricey compared to Blackberry Bold 9700 Onyx and Motorola Droid phone powered by Verizon Wireless, aka Verizon Droid phone whose total sales is low during its first week, estimates reveal):
The Motorola Aura technical specs are: MMS, SMS, Email (POP3/IMAP embedded) capable using open source software. It also supports AAC, AAC+, AAC+ Enhanced, MIDI, MP3, WAV, WMA v10, WMA v9 audio codecs which is popularly being used in the mobile phone industry.
The Motorola Aura can capture, play or stream H.263, H.264 and MPEG4 video formats which provides the best possible video compression suitable for limited storage capacities. Although video recording is limited only to the amount of storage medium used, the implementation of of such video formats greatly enhances the performance of small video devices such the one incorporated in the Motorola Aura mobile phone.
With the Aura’s 2MP fixed focus camera, one can shoot photos of excellent quality. Colors come alive and crystal clear images emerge with every click of the button. One thing more, the Motorola Aura comes with a 2Gb worth of shared memory for multimedia such as as audio and video. Although the available memory varies depending on the mobile carrier and supplier.
The Motorola Aura is a Quad Band phone supporting GSM 850/900/1800/1900, EDGE Class 12, GPRS Class 12. Unfortunately the iPhone 3G, unlike unfortunately this model does not support 3G but with a quad band phone like this one, it can be used worldwide via roaming.
The battery is typically rated at 810 mAh which can provide an approximate 400 hours of standby time and a talk time of about 7.3 hours.
The Motorola Aura’s specifications are very common nowadays which can be easily found in other phones but definitely there’s no phone like the Motorola Aura. Surely it’s one of a kind.
