iTunes 8.2 Download and QuickTime 7.6.2 Update Now Available
iTunes 8.2 download and QuickTime 7.6.2 update are available for download. You can download iTunes 8.2 and QuickTime 7.6.2 via the Apple Software Updater if you run either QuickTime or iTunes from your PC (if you have previously installed them).
The screenshot of iTunes 8.2 download GUI indicates that “iTunes 8.2 now supports iPhone or iPod touch with the iPhone 3.0 Software Update. iTunes 8.2 also includes many accessibility improvements and bug fixes.” The combined filesize of these two updates is 74.1MB and though it might be tempting for iPhone jailbreakers to use the update function, the IPhone Dev Team does not recommend such update yet.

For us here, the new iTunes 8.2 packs some new features that are quite interesting. One of which is the iTunes 8.2 diagnostic tests which performs a series of … well, diagnostics in the following areas:
- Network connectivity tests
- CD/DVD drive tests

- iPhone/iPod Touch sync tests
You can diagnostics in iTunes 8.2 under the Help Menu and see if you have connectivity problems.
