To uninstall iTunes from your computer running Windows XP or Windows Vista, do the following simple steps to remove the itunesminiplayer.dll failed to register error prompt. We know this is somewhat bugging some of you so try this quick fix and see if it works in your end:

  • Go to Control Panel.  Select iTunes. Click the Uninstall menu and follow the instructions on your screen.
  • Restart your PC as this will remove the dll files loaded in the memory.

Obtain a new executable iTunes 8.2.1 installation file (itunes.exe) from the iTunes website and re-install the software. The file size is slightly more than 84MB.     What’s wrong with Apple products? Is this a joke? If it is then it’s on us, users. First there was this iTunes Trojan Horse Small.Bog treated as a virus by AVG Free then now the itunesminiplayer.dll failed to register prompt keeps flashing on my screen. WTF!!!!
