StreamWriter Internet Radio Recorder Review: StreamWriter is free open-source software that records streaming songs from internet radios! This program can be downloaded for free at streamwriter.org/downloads/.
It is one very smart program. I’ve been using StreamWriter for a month and it works very well. I’m satisfied with it and no crashes so far. It lets me record songs from any internet radio as an MP3 or AAC file. I’m very impressed that this music or audio software recorder can automatically skip advertisements and just record the streaming songs!
It has a built-in radio station browser. StreamWriter can be set to record automatically by setting up a wish list of song titles and once they stream, this program will record them on its own! Alexander Nottelmann, the dude who wrote this program is a genius! His StreamWriter is the first streaming radio recorder that can do this feat!
This internet radio recorder can split tracks accurately aside from being able to skip advertisements and auto-record wishlisted songs. Song titles and artists are also faithfully recorded on the saved MP3 files because StreamWriter supports ID3 tagging! For this program, I am donating a few bucks to Nottelmann for his excellent work.
The best thing about this program is that nobody can be accused of stealing music. The ISP, RIAA or record producers won’t be able to track the streaming songs recorded to your hard drive. So get StreamWriter now! It’s safe and it records streaming music even if they are coming in at 384 kbps! If you have a fast broadband connection, this software is also much faster than torrents or peer-to-peer (e.g., Mielophone Free Music Sharing App).
