Three dollars for such an outstanding game is screaming “Buy me, Buy me!” Plants Vs. Zombies for iPhone and iPod Touch + iPad Tablet is an app designed for all ages. It was supposed to be launched last January but PopCap delayed it for further finishing touches. The casual games maker did not disappoint, Plants Vs. Zombies is dazzling on my iPod Touch!
I expect Plant vs Zombies to rise on the top of the best-selling apps list for the year 2010 and maybe in 2011. This PopCap take on the tower defense genre is the undisputed champion. Pitting garden plants versus hordes of invading “undeads” is hilarious and the simple gameplay is addictive (read our Plants vs Zombies review and see why we give this iPhone game app two thumbs up).
The Plants vs. Zombies iPhone version is a full replica of the PC and Mac version. It offers the same game play and content and nothing is amiss. The only difference is that instead of using your mouse, you will be using your fingers to put your plants and gather sunshine resources. The portable version of Plants Vs. Zombies includes all the plants and zombies you knew from the desktop version. You get all 50 levels and upgrades and the mini-games too. The graphics and the soundtrack from the PC version are also faithfully recreated on the iPhone version.
But if you think this version is just a clone of the desktop game, you are wrong. Plants Vs. Zombies on the iPhone and iPod Touch offers two new features. First is the Challenge Mode, dozens of achievement missions and secondly, Quick Play Arena wherein you can replay any level once you are finish doing the Adventure storyline. PopCap did an excellent job porting their best-crafted game to the iPhone platform and they deserve much praise too for selling Plant Vs. Zombies for a only $2.99! It’s an absolute steal you should not pass on.

I downloaded Plants vs Zombies on mi iPhone. Works great, though i didn;t get it for free. I paid for the plants vs zombies iPhone download but it was worth every penny. The iTouch version is virtually the same as the iPhone 4 version and whichever I use, I get the same fun in playing the game.

plants vs zombies is really addictive. i even tried playing for an entire day just to complete level 4. it just becomes frustrating when zombies come attacking you in huge numbers.
