Gaining XP at FarmVille is not as easy as it may seem. It requires much patience and diligence. You gain XP by planting a crop or tree or even an item. You also gain XP by building farm structures. But the best way to earn regular XP is to plant crops (see our article titled “FarmVille Farm Cash Guide: 10 Most Profitable Crops to Plant” for more tips and tricks in Playing Farmville). The more you plant, the faster you will gain XP. You must focus on this strategy. Create more farm lots for planting and sow only the seeds of the best plants. I have compiled a list of the best 20 crops to plant which gives the most XP reward. My higher level friends were kind enough to share their own experience. In return, I am sharing it with you here so that you will also level much faster. Kindness begets kindness.
Plant these following crops and you will absolutely level much faster at FarmVille. Remember to also be vigilant in harvesting them so they won’t wither and go to waste. Take note that withered crops will cost you more money to have them cleaned up. We are aiming for faster XP farming but we must always avoid potential costly clean-up of wasted crops. This list is not 100% accurate but I am confident that planting the crops below will give you much more XP for your planting efforts.

During your early levels, planting strawberry is the fastest way to gain XP. The fact that they can be harvested and planted again in 4 hours means you can spam and repeat planting it 3 or 4 times everyday.
