Check out the Verizon Motorola Droid update in our handsets right now as the much-awaited Motorola Droid Android OS 2.2 Froyo update has begun since August 3, 2010. Yes, folks! This is it. We’ve confirmed from our friends in New York that the Motorola Droid Milestone owners can now update their Android OS to Froyo via Over-the-Air (OTA). We’ve not been able to do it here in the Philippines since up until now, the Android OS 2.1 (Eclair) is still the one available in our phones. US residents, however, can now enjoy the following benefits of this free update to Android OS 2.2. Froyo on their Verizon Motorola Droid phone.

Too bad, OS update is not available to everyone at this point in time so you better wait for the official press release and check your Android phones for OTA updates at least once a week.
