Your plugins or theme could also be the cause. I'm not sure what else you've done... But you could try replicating your current Wordpress setup in another folder of this site. See if it works using the default setup. If it does you could cross out the DNS issue. Aside from this, I honestly couldn't provide any more useful input. Though hopefully you'll be able to fix this. I think your pingbacks/trackbacks are already working. For me it’s not fully functioning. sometimes it sends pingbacks sometimes it does not. :-(
