Motorola Citrus: Motorola’s First Eco-Friendly Android Phone Made of Recycled Materials
Motorola unveiled their environment-friendly Motorola Citrus Android phone at CTIA 2010 in San Francisco. The company says the feature-rich Citrus droid phone is also an excellent eco-friendly product because its body is made of 25% recycled consumer plastic materials, is PVC and BFR-free and comes packaged in a recycled cartoon. The Motorola Citrus is also certified CarbonFree by the CarbonFund organization. FYI, the first eco-friendly phone by Motorola was the Motorola W233 Renew, released in 2009.

AutoVelo Bike Review: Bike That Feels Like Riding a Car
Designer Eric Stoddard of Speed Studio Design has came up with a concept bike called AutoVelo which mimics the feel of driving a car. The AutoVelo is Stoddard’s entry on the ongoing International Bicycle Design Competition. The winners of which are going to be announced on March in Taipei, Taiwan. Stoddard’s AutoVelo is one of 3 US-made entries that have been short listed as possible winners for this competition. However, AutoVelo is generating a shrill buzz because it is trying to imitate the car. Staunch bikers are spiteful of the automobile which they see as a noisy, expensive and worst pollutant of the planet Earth.

Marvell, one of the world’s foremost leaders in semiconductor products, has announced a bold proposal to manufacture a $99 tablet computer for students around the world. Marvell disclosed that this cheap tablet PC, named MOBY, will primarily be offered as a new education tool to replace old, heavy, and outdated textbooks being used today. A good news to all students and teachers, I presume.
