Google Voice Still For GrandCentral Users Only

We were hoping to sign up with Google Voice because of rumors that it’s going to be available for use by the public (internet users). However, Google Voice Help page stated that it is still to come. If are using GTalk and/or Gmail voice and video chat, you might have run into some problems with webcams not working. This was outlined in our post titled “Webcam Not Compatible With GTalk: Incompatibility Issues in GTalk“. One of the webcam models not totally compatible with Gtalk is A4Tech PK-835MJ 5-Megapixel (MP) Webcam. Google Public Data Becoming More Accessible

Google Public Data: When we say “public data” we mean data (figures, statistics, graphs, charts, etc) that the public can access anywhere especially online without a lot of restrictions and without breaking the law. Google public data are becoming more and more accessible lately. However, the only restriction is the location where data is available. As of this writing, data outside the US are not yet available in this new search feature in Google.

My Google Chrome web browser has a version number 1.0.154.53. A few months ago, Google announced the arrival of Chrome 2 for Mac OS X and Linux, but after our traumatic and forgettable experiences with the buggy Google Chrome version 1, we never bothered to install it in our Linux Ubuntu 8.10 system. What is Google Chrome, anyway?
